How can you use Formative?
-Make a pre-test to gauge student content knowledge prior to a lesson or unit.
-Use True or False or Fill-in-the-Blank to check student understanding.
-Have students Show Their Response and perform a brain dump of all that they learned about a topic.
-Give students an equation to practice solving to test their understanding.
-Ask for an audio or video response to hear or see how students feel about what they learned or to express their confusion.
-Have students complete an exit ticket before leaving class.
-Create a homework assignment.
-Upload your assessments from Google Drive so students can complete them from anywhere.
-Ask students to show their work, explain a concept, or teach what they know.
-Add variety to your lesson with different content pieces such as videos, images, PDFs, and more.
-House a whole lesson on one Formative for students to access any time from anywhere.
-Assemble a worksheet to be used in conjunction with a lesson.
-Create activities that ask students to categorize, drag and drop, or resequence content.
-Use Hot Spot or Hot Text to have students analyze spots on an image or text on a document. This would be great for practicing citing evidence.
