Dichotomous keys are used to identify species. They usually focus on one group, e.g. pond insects, coniferous trees, etc. They consist of two part questions / statements to narrow down the species. They focus mainly on physical characteristics so that they are easy to use in the field.
Use the dichotomous key to identify these organisms.
1. Start by doodling and naming your own monster
2. Label the physical features of each monster - you will start to notice physical features that groups of monsters and indivudal monsters have.
