Make sure you have your definitions visible of what makes a Bronsted-Lowry acid and base as well as the definitions of how a conjugate acid and base are formed.
Bronsted-Lowry acid: Proton (H+1) donor.
Bronsted-Lowry base: Proton (H+1) acceptor.
*These are only on the reactant side of the chemical reaction.
Conjugate acid: Formed from the gain of a H+1.
Conjugate base: Formed from the loss of a H+1.
*These are only on the product side of the chemical reaction.
