Upper case and lower case MATTER when naming lines and rays!
-A line is named with EITHER one lower case letter or two upper case letters.
-Rays and line segments must be named with two upper case letters only.
-The direction the ray symbol is pointing in your label matters! It must match the diagram.

Rate your understanding on naming points, lines and planes.

Match each term to the definition.
Intersection
No dimension. A dot.
Ray
One dimension. Extends in both directions with no end.
Opposite rays
Two dimensional, extends in both directions with no end.
Line
Points that lie on the same line.
Line Segment
Points that lie in the same plane.
Collinear
Line that has two endpoints.
Plane
One endpoint with a line that extends in only one direction with no end.
Point
Two rays that share an endpoint, extend in opposite directions, and are on the same line.
Coplanar
A point or set of points in common.
