Write as many facts about Saturn as you can remember. (15+)

General Information

Saturn is the sixth planet from our Sun and orbits at a distance of about 886 million miles from the Sun. Saturn takes about 10.7 hours to rotate on its axis once—a Saturn “day”—and 29 Earth years to orbit the sun. It has a diameter of 72,400 miles. It's atmosphere is 21% Helium, 75% Hydrogen and a mixture of other gaseous material. Only four missions have ever been to Saturn. Pioneer 11, Voyager 1 & 2, and the Cassini satellite. Saturn has 63 confirmed moons, and 20 moons awaiting confirmation. As it has no solid core, and is composed of only gas, it is classified as a Gas Giant. Because it is so far from the Sun, and does not have many greenhouse gases, it has an average temperature of -457 degrees Fahrenheit.

Saturn's Rings & Moons

The two densest parts of the rings are the A and B rings, and then (guess what????) the C Ring. So, that is 3 rings. Then you have the smaller, dusty rings: the D Ring, G Ring, E Ring and the F Ring, which is just outside the A Ring. That’s 3 main rings and 5 dusty rings for a total of 8 rings. Only those can be seen from Earth. But there are even more rings around Saturn. There’s the Janus Ring, the Methone Ring Arc, the Anthe Ring Arc and the Pallene Ring. A total of 12. However, a total of 30 rings can be seen with an orbiting satellite. Saturn is home to the second largest moon but the only moon that has an atmosphere. This wonder moon is named Titan. Titan has an atmosphere of 98% Nitrogen and 2% Assorted Gasses. It is 1.4x larger than the moon and one third the size of earth. It has a gravity of 0.138Gs. It is the largest moon of Saturn. The second largest moon of Saturn is Rhea, at 0.44x the size of the moon. The third largest moon is Iapetus, which is 0.42x the size of the moon. But they are insignificant compared to the titan, TITAN! It also has a moon that looks like the Death Star:
