How to embed a Pear Deck lesson!

To embed a site into your formative, you can either:
  • Choose the embed content option:


  • Or click the "+" icon within a question, and select "Embed":

Instructions:

How to embed a lesson from Pear Deck:
  1. Go to https://peardeck.com and log in / sign up --OR-- launch a PearDeck using the "Pear Deck for Google Slides" Add-on
  2. Create your own lesson or search in the Library for lessons
  3. Click the "Start Lesson" button and select either Student-paced or Instructor paced.
  4. Click "Give Students the Link" to copy the join link.
  5. Enter the join link in any iframe-generator (or go to https://www.iframe-generator.com/), click "Generate," and copy the embed code. Paste the code into the Embed field in your formative!

Note: You can also create an embed code using joinpd.com. Enter this at https://www.iframe-generator.com/ to create an embed code, and put the join code in a text block above.
