Evaporation, condensation, and precipitation are the three main processes in the water cycle.
Evaporation is the process where liquid water rises into the atmosphere as gaseous water due to the heat.
Condensation is the process where the evaporated gaseous water is cooled back to liquid water and forms clouds.
Precipitation is how the liquid water in the clouds falls down on earth.
