Applying Knowledge: Today, we are going to combine your knowledge of the American Revolution with the art of propaganda to kick off the Unit 1 Performance Assessment!
Directions: You will create two protest posters to capture the spirit of our American identity and our country’s rich tradition of protesting societal injustices. Your first poster will take you back in time, to protest an injustice of the Revolutionary Era, and the second poster will protest a modern topic of your choice. Once you have finished creating your posters, you will complete a write up that explains your work further in depth.
How will I create my posters? You will create your poster using the website Canva. A tutorial on how to use the website and its features can be accessed here.
