Savannah has a container of 1,400 beads. She lost 387 beads when they fell on the floor. How many beads does she still have in all?

Mr. Denmark wants to move his students’ seats in the classroom so that they are sitting in 6 rows with 5 students in each row. How many students does he have in his classroom?

A.  Click HERE to go to 99 math and practice addition facts.

B.  Get your seat work from your group basket.  When you complete the sheet, turn it in to the class basket. Be sure your name is on the paper. 

C. You may choose to work alone or with a partner who has completed tasks A and B.  You will each need: a word problem worksheet,  a computer, dry erase board, marker and eraser.  You may move around the room to a different work area. Your volume should be a level 1.

Above are the settings I would like you to select.  You can change the range to have smaller numbers in your word problems.  Your choices are: 1-100 or 1-1000. Hit GENERATE to make a word problem.  Work with your partner to solve.  Write the problem and answer on the worksheet page.  Show all your work.  Complete 6 problems.   Click HERE to go to the site.
When you complete 6 problems, return to your seat and keep the paper at your desk.

E.  When you have completed the warm-up and tasks A-D, you may work in Prodigy or SumDog.
