Weathering

Weathering is a slow land change. Over time weathering causes the earth to change. There are different types of weathering. One type of weathering is water. Rain and snow overtime can cause the earth to change by washing away the land. Another type of weathering is trees. Trees take a long time to grow, but as they get older their roots can become huge under the ground causing it to shift or crack. Another type of weathering is wind. Wind can move fast, but it takes a long time for wind to change the earth a lot. Wind can blow dirt, soil, and sand to new places. The last type of weathering is ice. When water freezes it turns to ice. If the water is in between rocks or underground when it turns to ice it can cause the rocks or ground to crack. These are types of weathering.
