The absolute maximum is (-2,6), but the relative maximums are highest points relative to the intervals of focus.

There are two absolute minimums because they both are at y=-6.

The y-intercept is where the line crosses the y-axis which is only once at (0,5).

The line touches the x-axis five times that is why there are five x-intercepts.

The increasing and decreasing intervals can also be writting in interval notation using [ ]'s and ( )'s because this function is continuous.

Increasing: (-5,-2) & (1,6) in interval notation

Decreasing: [-7,-5) & (-2,1) & (6,-7] in interval notation

The domain would be the lowest to greatest x values in interval notation because this is continuous. [-7,7]

The range would be the lowest to greatest y-value in interval notation because this is continuous. [-6,6].
