Last week, we learned about how African Americans fought in the Revolutionary War. Did you know that women also helped the Patriot cause?

During the Revolutionary War, the American _______ consisted mainly of able-bodied American males who received only basic training. Women played a significant part in _______ farms and businesses while men were away at war.
