The Salem Witch Trials occurred in Massachusetts in the late-1600s. All of the ideas from the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment were not yet supported by the Puritans living in Salem at this time.

Think about the ways that people thought about science and religion BEFORE the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment (think about everything we have learned so far in Module A).
