yell at John until he begins crying

tell John to 'suck it up buttercup'

give him a stern warning that this is not the behavior he should have right now

give John a warning that it's not an appropriate time and ask him to quietly sit back down

yell back at him 'You're a terrible student!'

ask John to step outside into the hallway again because there is obviously something else bothering John

yell back and say 'Of course I can...I'm the teacher!'
