BEFORE YOU START Folder 4
Based on your own prior knowledge of traits of these animals, if you could go back in time and have a T. rex for dinner, what would it taste like? Chicken, fish, steak or alligator? Why? (Hint: Base your guess on which you think is most closely related to T. rex!)

Fill in the table as you go
Write a description of the cladogram so a non-biologist can understand it.
Do you accept or reject your hypothesis? Support your answer with data.
Discuss some of the difficulties with creating cladograms and explain what other types of data might be helpful to be able to make these diagrams.
