This video will take you through the steps of how to create your project on Google Earth.

For this project, you will be planning a round-the-world trip with 7 destinations of your choice. The formative will help guide you through the research and information gathering, then there will be a video to help you create your project in Google Earth.

Click on this link and then click "present" to view the beginning of my project to get an idea of what you will be creating. You can move through the slides and destinations with the arrows at the bottom. You can you move through the pictures at a destination with the arrows on the picture. You can scroll through the text at a destination with the scroll bar on the text window.

Step 1: Choose SEVEN destinations anywhere in the world. They must be a specific area in a country, you can't pick a whole country. For example, you need to pick Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic or el Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico - not just "Dominican Republic" or "Puerto Rico." List them here.

Animals - describe (size, diet, reproduction habits), give the common and scientific name (in proper format!!)of 2 animals in the area.

Food - choose a local food (for example, pasta with red sauce in Rome, Italy), show a picture of it and explain what macromolecules are found in the dish - be specific, like the cheese is a lipid or the meat is a protein, etc.

Disease - describe a disease that is found in this area (something not found in the U.S.) including symptoms and treatment. You *can* include pictures, but be warned, if you Google a disease you might get some gross pictures!
