Present Past and Future-Tense Verbs

Present-tense verbs tell what is happening now.
When the subject is not I or you:
- add -s to tell what one person or thing is doing.
Verbs that end in sh, ch, s, x, z
- add -es
Verbs that end in y
- change y to i and add -es
My sister know how to repair things.

Past-tense verbs tell about an action that has already happened. Most verbs have the suffix -ed to form the past-tense.

- change y to i and add -ed
