There are several online software programs that will auto-generate citations for all types of sources. One of the most frequently used (and most reputable) programs is citationmachine.net.
Click on the Citation Machine link to open a new tab, keeping all tabs (including this Formative) open.
Create an account, using your school Google account as a "middle school student."
Return to this Formative (leaving the other tab open).
After you have followed all instructions to the left, respond:
I was able to create an account in the Citation Machine program (Click one).
You can also create a Works Cited page using the Citations Tool in a Google Doc!
Watch the video, THEN use the Google Doc to the right to create a Works Cited page using the supplied sources.
The "Citations tool" in Google Docs can create any kind of citation that you could otherwise create using Citation Machine, but it is a bit more limited.
