I'm ready to go!

How many times can a straight line intersect with a graph of this shape?

What will the equation turn into when you isolate the radical?

I can see how the radical was not isolated, but after adding 3 to both sides, the radical (and everything under it) is alone on its side of the equal sign

Questions on squaring both sides?

I know that extraneous solutions are a big issue, and I will check for extraneous solutions before moving on to the next problem

I have my first screenshot for 10.4.a!

Questions? Concerns? Comments?

The radical here is currently isolated

What will the right hand side be after squaring both sides?

Questions? Could you get to this step on your own?

I know I need to check for extraneous solutions before moving on!

I have my second screenshot for 10.4.a!
