Directions: For this next objective, you have two different deadlines. Annotated bibliographies should be turned in via hard copy. Here are the slides in case you missed them.

5A: Submit preliminary annotated bibliography for at least 2 primary sources and 1 secondary/tertiary sources.
5B: Submit revised annotated bibliography with at least 2 primary sources and 3 secondary/tertiary sources.

This is a court case about whether or not immigrants, even undocumented immigrants should have the right to bear arms in the U.S.

This court case can be used to support the idea that the Second Amendment does not respond to the values of our society since the right to bear arms was written in a time when non-citizens, who were primary people of color, were not allowed to exercise that right, even though they were enslaved and were encroached upon by white settlers at the time the Bill of Rights was written.
