I use this assessment at the beginning of the quarter to see what my class knows about music and where I need to work with them. At the end of the quarter, they take the assessment again to see how much they've improved.
This assessment has note names and values, dynamics, basic staff information, and white keys on the piano.
Do your best to answer the questions below.  It is OKAY if you do not know something, this helps me to know what I need to help you with. You will get a completion grade (A) for finishing the assessment, it will not be based how many answers you get correct.
