Welcome to the course for Local Anesthesia for Mississippi Dental Hygienists. 

Below you will find the loosely constructed schedule for your at-home coursework. There are 13 units of learning including the Mock Written exam that you will need to pass with a 75 before you can come to the on-campus laboratory date.  You can take the mock exam as many times as you need.  

For each unit of learning, there will be assignments/quizzes to test your knowledge. Please complete the quizzes with each unit as this will ensure a full depth of learning and understanding of this information.

Remember, you will get out of this what you put into it! We understand this information is intense and can be overwhelming. Manage your time wisely and allow yourself plenty of time to study and digest this material.

**This is a prep course for the CDCA Written Board Exam. It is encouraged for you to listen to the unit's associated lectures while also reading each chapter and completing the back of the chapter questions.
