The stock/material should be held firmly against the fence and table.
The blade does NOT need to reach full speech before cutting.
The longer side of the board should be kept to the right side of the blade.
The blade should still be spinning when you raise it.
You should use your left hand to operate the power switch and your right hand to hold the material.
