Yesterday in the lab, we burned magnesium in the air and made the compound magnesium nitride. If I add water to this magnesium nitride, it will produce magnesium hydroxide and ammonia (NH3). Write out the formulas and balance this equation. Place the coefficients in the blanks. Include "1"s in your answer (even though we don't write them on paper).
_______magnesium nitride + _______water → _______magnesium hydroxide + _______ammonia
