Hey guys,
Mr. Guesno here. I thought it would be good for me to take a moment to write to you and share my experience with the theory of evolution. In about 4th-5th grade, I really struggled with the concept of evolution and the idea that perhaps we developed from simple life to complex life.
I struggled so much it impacted my school life. I remember sitting in class and feeling doubt in my mind about God. I decided to share with my parents what was going on. My parents shared with my grandparents and my grandpa decided to come over to our house. My gpa came every Wednesday and spoke to me about evolution but more-so the christian ideas and biblical perspectives on how to battle doubt that God made this place.
I love my grandpa. He literally saved me and helped me become a christian (kingdom man). I realized that at the end of it, I really did not need evidence to help my faith. I needed the love of Christ, which was in my grandpa . Love conquers all fear and all doubt.
There are many christian resources out there that explain how God made the planet, the dinosaurs, the difference races, how carbon dating works, and etc. Let me know if you are interested and I'll drop them to your parents so they can preview them and show you. I'm also always available and we can chat about my ideas on creationism if you would like.
