Task 2: Jobs Around the World

Text: Maria loves to travel. She has visited many countries and seen people doing interesting jobs. In France, she saw bakers making fresh bread in the morning. In Japan, she met a robot engineer who works with machines. In Brazil, she saw farmers working in the fields, growing fruits and vegetables. In Australia, she saw lifeguards at the beach making sure everyone is safe in the water. No matter where you go, people have different jobs that help make the world a better place.

Task 3: A Day in the Life of a Teacher

Text: Mr. John is a teacher. He teaches math to students every day. In the morning, he prepares the lesson and makes sure the classroom is ready. He explains the lesson to his students and helps them when they have questions. After lunch, he checks the students' homework and gives them feedback. At the end of the day, he meets with other teachers to discuss how to improve the lessons. Mr. John loves his job because he can help children learn and grow.

Example Answer: My dream job is to be a doctor. I want to help people feel better when they are sick. I need to study medicine and learn how to take care of patients. I also need to be kind and listen carefully to people. Being a doctor is a very important job because you help save lives.

Task Instructions: Write about a job you like. What does the person do in that job? Why do you think this job is important?

Example Answer: I like the job of a teacher. Teachers help students learn new things like math, science, and languages. They teach students to think and solve problems. Teachers are important because they shape the future of children. Without teachers, we wouldn’t know many things.

Example Answer: In my town, there are many types of jobs. The baker makes fresh bread every morning. The mailman delivers letters to everyone’s house. The police officer keeps the town safe. The hairdresser cuts and styles people’s hair. There are many people doing important jobs to help our town.
