Objective:
You will write a creative narrative where you imagine that an exponential function is a person. Your task is to describe "a day in their life" while incorporating important mathematical properties and concepts related to exponential functions.

Requirements:
· Your story must be long enough to convey a complete story with an introduction (hook us in), culminating events (the excitement and intrigue), and a conclusion (wrap it up).

· It should be written from a first-person point of view (as if you are the exponential function).

· Include at least five key characteristics/vocabulary words of exponential functions in your writing (e.g., exponent, growth/decay, asymptotes, initial values, rate of change, rate, range, etc.).

· Make it engaging and creative—you can include dialogue, humor, and personification.

Some Ideas to Get You Started:
· Are you an exponential growth function, constantly increasing and gaining power, like a viral trend?

· Or are you an exponential decay function, slowly fading away like a melting ice cube?

· Do you have a best friend who is a linear function?

· Do you struggle with staying above the asymptote, never quite touching zero?

· How do you feel about doubling every few hours? Is it exhausting or exciting?

· What does your morning routine look like? How does your function evolve throughout the day?

Example Opening:
"Beep! Beep! My alarm clock rings, but I don’t need it—I’ve already doubled in size since yesterday! You see, I’m an exponential function, and my life is all about rapid change. While my linear friends grow at the same steady rate, I take things to the next level. My base value (b) determines how fast I grow, and let’s just say, I’m on the rise! But things weren’t always this way..."
