Text 1: The Life of a Butterfly

Butterflies go through amazing changes in their lives. They start as tiny eggs laid on leaves. When the eggs hatch, caterpillars come out. The caterpillars spend their days eating leaves to grow bigger. Next, they make a chrysalis, or cocoon, where they rest and change. Finally, they emerge as beautiful butterflies with colorful wings. Butterflies help plants by spreading pollen as they fly from flower to flower.
