What is Software?
Software: The programs that run on your computer. Software is what makes the hardware useful. When hardware runs software, it gets stored into RAM.
There are two main types of of software:
Application software is a type of program designed to help you perform specific tasks on a computer or device. Examples include word processors for writing documents, spreadsheets for calculating data, and web browsers for surfing the internet.
System Software are software that runs in the background and helps manage and maintain your computer or device
There are two types of System Software:
“Operating Systems” and “Utility Software”
