Practice Writing

You have read the story “The 10,000 Stroke Chinese Character,” in

which a students begins to learn how to write numbers in Chinese. After

analyzing Little Liangs’ actions and behavior, write a continuation of

this story that shows what Little Liang does next after his teacher shows

him the character for the number ten thousand.

Your writing will be scored based on development of ideas, organization

of writing, and language conventions of grammar, usage, and mechanics.
