Emily and Her Animal Friends
Emily is twelve years old and she lives in a big house near the countryside. She is a cheerful and curious girl. Every morning, she wakes up early because her pets are waiting for her. Emily has a dog, a cat, a hamster, and two birds. Her dog, Bruno, is big, energetic, and very friendly. He is always jumping and running around the garden. Her cat, Misty, is quiet and independent. She is gray and has bright green eyes. Misty is usually sleepy in the morning, but she loves to sit next to Emily when she reads.
Emily also has a small hamster named Coco. He is tiny, brown, and very fast. He loves to hide in his cage and eat sunflower seeds. The two birds are called Sky and Sunny. They are colorful, noisy, and playful. Sky is blue, and Sunny is yellow. They are always singing and flying inside their big cage. Emily is very proud of her pets. They are not just animals — they are her best friends. She is never bored because they make her life fun and full of love.
