Lees de tekst Twins en beantwoord de vragen.

Twins

Julie and Ellen are twins. They look very much alike. Both girls have blond hair and green eyes. They are fourteen years old. Julie and Ellen’s parents are Tim and Denise. They have been married for twenty years. Julie and Ellen have a little brother named Rob, he is eleven years old. Let’s hear from the girls and find out what being twins is all about.

Wow, you girls really look alike, do you enjoy being twins?

Julie   Yes, I like the fact that we’re twins. You always have someone close to you who knows and understands you. Sometimes it’s funny to switch roles and pretend I’m not myself but that I am Ellen.

Ellen   Yes, switching roles is always funny, but at the same time it’s hard to understand that people don’t notice it. Of course we look alike, but everyone should be able to tell us apart. My hair is a bit lighter than Julie’s and I have a bigger nose.

Does everyone in the family look alike?

Ellen   Well, we look a lot like our father. He also has blond hair and green eyes.

Julie   Our brother looks more like our mother. They both have brown hair and blue eyes.

Do you girls have the same hobbies?

Julie   Although we look alike, we have different interests and hobbies. I’m more interested in music and theatre and I love shopping! But Ellen is more into sport.

Ellen   Yes, I only go shopping when I need a new sport outfit. I really like to play tennis and soccer. I guess, I’ve got that from my dad. My dad and brother are also into soccer.

Julie   Yeah, and I’m more like my mom. She can spend hours in the shopping mall, just like me!
