Three friends are trying to figure out what happens when we put a hot bowl of rice into the cold fridge.

We know that if we put a bowl of hot rice into a fridge the rice will become cooler. We are not sure how hot rice becomes cooler.

Aubrey thinks that energy transfers cold and hot both move.
Kendrick thinks that energy transfers from the cold fridge to the hot rice.
Jermaine refuses to argue because he believes they are both wrong. He believes energy transfers from the hot rice to the cold fridge.
