From morning to night

Every day I wake up at seven o’clock in the morning. Sometimes I open my eyes earlier when the sun shines through my window. I stretch, yawn, and slowly get out of bed. The first thing I do is brush my teeth and wash my face with cold water. It helps me feel fresh and ready for the new day.

After that, I make my bed and get dressed for school. I usually wear my school uniform. Then I go to the kitchen where my mother is making breakfast. I eat bread with butter and jam, drink tea or milk, and sometimes have an egg or porridge. While eating, I talk with my family about our plans for the day.

At eight o’clock, I leave home and go to school. My school is not far, so I walk there with my friends. We laugh and talk on the way. Classes start at half past eight. I study English, math, history, and other subjects. My favorite subject is English because I like learning new words and speaking with my teacher.

At twelve o’clock, we have lunch in the school cafeteria. I eat rice, salad, and soup. After lunch, we sometimes play outside for a short break. When lessons finish, I go home.

In the afternoon, I do my homework and help my mother in the kitchen or clean my room. In the evening, I like watching TV, reading short stories, or playing games on my phone. My father comes home from work, and we all have dinner together. After dinner, I take a shower, brush my teeth again, and put on my pajamas. Before bed, I sometimes listen to music or look at the stars outside my window. Finally, I go to bed at ten o’clock and fall asleep quickly, ready for another new day tomorrow.

Reading

Last Saturday, Emma went to the city with her best friend, Anna. They wanted to spend the whole day together. They arrived at ten o’clock in the morning. The weather was sunny and warm, so they decided to walk in the park first. Many children were playing on the grass, riding their bikes, and flying kites. Some people were sitting under the big trees, reading books or talking. Emma and Anna took some funny photos in front of the fountain and laughed a lot.

After that, they went to a small café next to the library. It was a cozy place with soft music. They had lunch there at twelve o’clock. Emma ate a cheese sandwich and drank orange juice, while Anna had pizza and a cup of tea. They talked about school, their teachers, and plans for the summer holidays.

In the afternoon, they walked along Green Street and looked at the shop windows. Then they visited a small bookstore where Emma bought an adventure book, and Anna bought a pretty pink bag. Before going home, they stopped at the bus stop and waited for the bus.

When they arrived home in the evening, Emma was tired but happy. She put her new book on the table, helped her mother in the kitchen, and told her about the fun day. It was one of the best Saturdays in her life.
