Identify conflicts that appeared in The Season of Styx Malone and how they resolved using the graphic organizer below.

Caleb and his father don’t have a strong relationship; Caleb thinks that his father doesn’t think he’s special.		Caleb gets to travel to different cities and experience the world outside of Sutton with his dad and brother.
Caleb and Bobby Gene argue about what is right and wrong; they’re growing further apart.		Caleb realizes that all along his father has been calling him extraordinary, meaning special. Caleb’s father realizes that he needs to support Caleb in his dreams, even if it means taking risks.
Styx has moved around a lot, doesn’t have a family to live with consistently, will have to leave Sutton soon.		Bobby Gene sticks up for Caleb, and Caleb realizes that he’s a bridge between Caleb and his dad. He’s not against Caleb.
Caleb feels unsatisfied being in Sutton and wants to explore the life outside of his hometown; he doesn’t want to be ordinary		Styx is adopted by Mr. Pike and gets to move back in with him, who cares about Styx.
