Prereading activities FOR Macbeth

Students will analyze how context, color connotations, and imagery contribute to meaning in Macbeth by watching a background video and examining various playbill covers.

Students will use academic vocabulary to summarize contextual information, discuss their quiz results and topic connections in groups, and write a prediction paragraph explaining the mood or plot suggested by the imagery on a Macbeth playbill.
