Today was a special day for Mia. She woke up early, excited to go on a field trip to the science museum with her class. Mia loved science because it was all about discovering new things. When they arrived at the museum, Mia’s eyes sparkled as she saw huge dinosaur skeletons hanging from the ceiling. She pointed and shouted, “Look at that T-Rex! It’s so big!” Her friend Noah laughed and said, “I bet it could eat your favorite toy!” They both giggled and continued to explore. They learned about the planets in the universe and even saw a real rocket ship. Mia’s favorite part was the live butterfly exhibit. Colorful butterflies flew around her like little fairy wings. She felt happy and amazed by all the amazing things she saw. At the end of the trip, Mia couldn’t wait to tell her parents all about her adventures. She knew this day would be one of her best memories.
On the bus ride home, Mia and Noah talked about what they learned. Mia drew a picture of the T-Rex in her notebook. She also wrote one new fact about planets. When they got back to school, Mia thanked her teacher for the trip. She smiled, knowing she wanted to learn even more about science.
