Today you’ll create a portrait of our principal to help decorate our door/hallway and/or to include in a class memory book.
Expectations (for every portrait):
Keep it respectful and school-appropriate.
Try to include at least one detail that shows appreciation (a kind message, a symbol of leadership, school spirit, etc.).
Different mediums: Try a medium such as sketching, painting, collage, digital art, mixed media, etc.
Imitate a famous artist: Choose an artist you know (or research one with teacher approval) and create the portrait inspired by that artist’s style.
Real-life scene: Show the principal doing a daily school activity (greeting students, morning announcements, visiting a classroom, leading an assembly, etc.).
Follow your teacher’s directions to turn in your artwork (for example: submit the original in class, or upload a clear photo of your finished piece).
