__________- This military campaign, which began in March of 2003, was an invasion of Iraq by a multinational force led by the US and UK as a result of 9/11. It resulted in an occupation and the eventual capture of Saddam Hussein. Western leaders alleged Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction and posed an imminent threat to their security and that of their allies.
