What are the 3 steps to conjugate a stem changing verb?

Add the new ending, drop the middle letter, and add s to make it plural

Drop the ending (-ar, -er, -ir), add the new regular ending, and check spelling/accents

Rewrite the stem (spelling) by changing e->i/ie or o/u --> ue in every form except nosotros. add the regular ending, and check for spelling/accents

Lastly, please watch this video about the stem-changing verb jugar (to play) which goes from u --> ue. This is pretty much the only verb in Spanish that changes from u --> ue. This verb is very important to our current chapter!
