Poznámka od autora:

These videos discuss work, energy (kinetic, potential), motion, collisions, and momentum.

All questions are answered in the videos.

There two ways you can do this assignment:

  1. Click play and then answer the questions immediately when they appear. What was said just prior to the video pausing is what the question is based on.

  2. Watch the whole video all the way through one time. Then rewind the video, watch it again and then answer the questions the second time through.

There is one short answer question that must be regraded by me.

If you get stuck, let me know; however, everything is answered in the videos.

If the videos on the formative won't play well, here are the links to the videos:

Otázka 2
2.

If you pulled a box with a force of 50 Newtons over a distance of 5 meters, the work done is equal to

Otázka 3
3.

Work is defined as a change in energy because it occurs when an force is applied to a system.

Otázka 4
4.

The formula to calculate kinetic energy is equal to half of an object's mass times its squared.

Otázka 5
5.

Gravitational potential energy is the potential energy that arises due to an object's .

Otázka 6
6.

Hooke's law describes the potential energy stored in a when it is compressed or stretched.

Otázka 7
7.

A conservative system is one that does not lose through .

Otázka 8
8.

Average power is defined as divided by .

Otázka 9
9.

The two equations for average power relate to the applied to an object and its average .

Otázka 10
10.

Physics covers a variety of topics, including movements and interactions, but it also addresses that involve collisions, such as billiard balls clashing or throwing a controller during a game.

Otázka 11
11.

Newton's second law states that net force on an object is equal to its mass times its .

Otázka 12
12.

The quantity that describes an object’s mass times its velocity is called .

Otázka 13
13.

In physics, is defined as the integral of the net force on an object over time.

Otázka 14
14.

Collisions can be either: or

Otázka 15
15.

In elastic collisions is neither created or destroyed.

Otázka 16
16.

For a true elastic collision to have occurred energy must be .

Otázka 17
17.

I have to regrade this.

What are elastic collisions very rare?

Otázka 18
18.

When kinetic energy is not conserved, you have an collision.

What is always conserved in a system?

Otázka 19
19.

The law of motion that states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction is?

Otázka 20
20.

A perfectly inelastic collision occurs when objects , losing kinetic energy to other forms of .

Otázka 21
21.

is the average position of all of the in a system.

Otázka 22
22.

On a stick, it's center of mass is closest to the end.
