Navigating the Periodic Table

• Use the drawing and label tools to help you label the Periodic Table.
• 💙 Fill in the noble gases with blue
• ❤️ Fill in the transition metals with red
• 🧡Fill in the alkaline earth metals with orange.
• 💚 Fill in the halogens with green.
• 💜 Fill in the inner transition elements purple. (The inner transition elements are the two rows at the bottom – seemingly separated from the rest of the Periodic Table.)
• 💛 Fill in the alkali metals yellow. (Hydrogen is not considered an alkali metal.)
• 🖊 Write the number of each group at the top of the column (1 – 18).
