On October 8, 1871, a great fire broke out in Chicago. Daniel "Peg Leg" Sullivan ____13___ slowly around the neighborhood that night.
Sullivan saw that the O'Leary's barn was on fire and ____14______, "FIRE. FIRE. FIRE.". He ran to the barn to free the animals. Once inside the fire became very ___15______ and strong. The fire raged on for two days. It died out when it began to rain. The fire killed 300 people. It left 100,000 people homeless, and it caused $200 million in property damage.
