Polyhedrons are 3D figures that have faces that are all polygons. There are two major types: Prisms and Pyramids.

Prisms are polyhedrons (3D) that have 2 congruent bases. The lateral faces of a prism are always parallelograms.

Pyramids are polyhedrons (3D) that have one base. The lateral faces of a pyramid are always triangles.
