I continue to straighten my coat. He’s staring at me. I know what’s coming. I just keep gathering my things. The bus
screeches and halts like it is confused about whether it should go forward or backward. I try to think about that instead. I don’t know why Matthew always bothers me. Maybe it’s because of my size. I don’t want to hear him calling me names like he did yesterday. Idiot! Nerd!
